The School of Psychology wished to convert an unpopular windowless post graduate shared office into an attractive video conferencing equipped boardroom.
It’s location in the McElwain Building presented several challenges including; 2500mm slab to slab height, two opposing side walls were curved, and end walls were straight at different tangent angles.
Our solution linked these disparate wall types with a sweeping array of acoustic battens feature lit from a head pelmet.
The curved passageway wall was squared up to the boardroom table with a matching length of full height whiteboard panels.
A presentation wall was squared up to align with the boardroom table, which generated a sideboard pocket, and a presentation LCD screen fitted with video conferencing was installed.
