This project is a complete refurbishment of Levels 1 and 3 at the University of Queensland’s Priestley Building. Each floor will now offer two centrally controlled bookable seminar rooms with surrounding student informal space. The teaching is highly visible with clear double glazed walls separating the teaching and informal areas. The student areas provide a diverse range of ways to be used including, group work, writable walled rooms, quiet individual carrels, and all are provided with GPO and usb power plugin ability at each setting. The informal spaces can be used at any time, and assist absorbing the waiting crowds arriving for the next teaching period.
