61 Mary Street Foyer

Design Nest worked with TSA Management and the teams from QIC and JLL to identify a solution for this quick turnaround foyer refurbishment. The scope included a new ceiling, new soft floor coverings, joinery and loose furniture.

The functional brief included a secure screen wall element between the lounge area and lift lobby entry which effectively split the space into two separate areas. The ceiling design created a strong linear link between these areas and played with uplit raking planes of veneer to create visual interest and a sense of height.

Finishes were carefully selected to work with the existing pink tones of the natural stone floor and walls. Feature lighting elements in brass tones create highlights and work with the soft variegated planting to add layers of texture and warmth.
