Bardon House

This much loved family home was the last house designed by revered modernist architect John Dalton. The scope of the project included new parquetry flooring, upgrading lighting and electrical services as well as furniture and furnishings selections.

Finishes were carefully chosen to be in keeping with the original architect's intent. Light was used to highlight the natural beauty of the existing vaulted ceiling spaces rather than as a feature in itself.

The design team curated a palette of new furnishings to complement and feature existing treasured family pieces. A bespoke bookshelf unit constructed using timber slabs refers to the family's ancestral colonial history.

The resultant interior spaces emerge with the unique identity pertaining to the architecture, the history of the family and the relaxed gracious style of the people who call this house home.
